 NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

National Service scheme (NSS) unit was stared at MCA Dhamtari (C.G.) in the year 2002. NSS unit has completed 22 years. During this period the NSS Unit is trying to fulfill the objectives of NSS for which has been started in different educational institute.

Aim of NSS:- Personality development of students through social  services.

Ø  Motto of NSS:-“Not Me, But You”

Ø  Objectives of NSS :-

·        Understand the community in which they work

·        Understand themselves in relation to their community

·        Identify the needs and problems of the community in involve them in problem solving.

·        To develop among them a sense of social and civic responsibility.

·        To utilize their knowledge in finding practical solution to individual community problems

·        To develop competence required for group living and share responsibilities 

·        Gain skills in mobilizing community participations

·        Acquire leadership quantities and democratic attitudes

·        To develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters

·        Practice national integration and social harmony
